Istanbul 2011 - Day 1

(I didn’t blog while away, I just updated my Facebook status. I am trying now to recreate the “blogging while on the road” experience but with pictures!)

Day one in Istanbul was short, by the time we checked in and went exploring it was about 3:30. We are in walking distance of all the main sights. Just started raining as soon as we got back to the hotel after supper - we were lucky!! food is good so far... Almost time for bed - not bad for day one!
